Tommy Pancy a Saxophonist That Keeps Jazz Alive!

Hailing from West Michigan, Tommy Pancy is a Michigan based saxophone player that draws heavily from the traditions of bebop and the blues. His studies and performances have taken him all over the United States and abroad as far as Tokyo, Japan. Tommy has played with some of the giants of the genre such as Rodney Whitaker, Christian McBride, Kenny Baron and others. After finishing school at Michigan State University and studying under the tutelage of the great Diego Rivera, he is currently residing in Grand Rapids where he is an ambassador of the jazz style by putting on clinics, jam sessions and teaching private lessons to the community.
